My Musical Scrapbook
It has been a great blessing to be able to join hands & hearts with these other ministries along the way in recording their worship to the Lord, either as a songwriter, worship leader, pianist or vocalist. Each of these hold a special place in my heart, whether I played a small or a large role in the recording.

Listeners Letters
"I recently bought your "Faithful God" CD and was just blown away with it. I listen to it over and over and then bought a copy for our worship director. There is something special about your music. I have been involved in music my whole life, it seems, so I am tickled pink when I hear something that really motivates me. Your music does that! Thank you so very much. You can be sure I will purchase any and everything you do. God has blessed you in a very significant way and your music is exceptional in praising Him... - Steve
"Shannon, I just wanted to tell you how blessed I was during your worship time at Maranatha last Saturday. Thank you for making it all about Jesus and not about entertainment. I am 49, divorced, childless and beginning the process of adopting 12 year old twin girls. Your adoption story brought hope and healing to my heart. Thank you for your ministry. I have always loved your music. - Jill
"Shannon's 'Faithful God' is absolutely spirit filled. It goes straight to my heart and then releases my praises to MY AWESOME GOD! - Barb
"Thank you for being so open-hearted about your adoption journey. We are in the process of adopting from Russia (16 months and counting) and "In the Waiting" has been our theme song. Thank you for encouraging me and so many others who are on this incredible journey. Be blessed!" - Karen
"My husband of seven years was not feeling well when I first started getting acquainted with the collection of songs on "Faithful God," and, in a short time, was diagnosed with cancer and died within five weekes. As you can imagine, this has been a very difficult time for me, a time when I have cried out to the Lord as I've struggled with the many intense and unpredicatable emotions of grief. Your songs have directed my mind to Him and the truths and promises of His Word in ways that I have desperately needed. Your songs, "Here in the Shadow," "Quiet Places," and "Whole Heart," have especially drawn me to my Lord and reminded me of His ultimate purposes for me, that I live completely in His love....thank you for your ministry to me at this time. I knew you would want to know how God is using you in one believer's life. - Marilyn
"My sister's son, Brandon, was killed in an automobile accident one month ago tomorrow. On Mother's Day we decided to go out to the crash site just to try and come to grips with everything. Brandon hit a tree and cut it in two. Anyway, the whole time I was there walking around the site, the song "Shadow of a Tree" was playing in my head. I took a piece of the tree home with me. I made a shadow box for my sister that includes the piece of tree and the words to "Shadow of a Tree." I added a verse at the end for Brandon. The words are below. I just wanted to thank you for this song as it has helped me to comfort my sister in this tragic time...
Many years later, a different time, a different tree...A young man leaves this world behind. He entered into a Kingdom of peace with Jesus by His side. Let this tree remind you not of sorrow or despair. Brandon accepted God's amazing grace. He went into the Father's care. He found mercy waiting there...in the shadow of a tree..."
- Sonda
"Hi Shannon! I want to tell you what a blessing your ministry is to me! Your songs make me stop and listen and worship God. When I first heard you on the radio, it was the song, 'I Will Rest In You,' a few years back. I cried in huge sobs! It was during the time when my husband and I were in the thick of wrestling with God over our desire to have another child...Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing what God has taught you. I am blessed by how you have submitted yourself and let God teach you during this extremely difficult limbo period...Please be encouraged that God is using you and your ministry in my life and in the lives of many others! You are a beautiful reflection of Him!" - Judy
"I just thought you would like to know, I heard your song "In the Waiting." That song was like I could have written it. I immediately went to the store and bought your CD. The next day I called our music director and told him he had to listen to not only this song, but the entire CD. He loved it and asked me to sing it. I sang it last week. It was so awesome to sing that song, because I could truly sing it from my heart and from my life experiences. Thank you so much. Not only did your song minister to me, but I had SO many people come up to me afterwards and say how much the words of that song meant to them. - Heidi
"Hi Shannon, I love your music. I appreciate your attitude of worship and not performance. Probably the highest compliment you can get in this earthly realm is to have people recognize the Jesus in your music and want to emulate it themselves in worship. - Sally
